ThankYouX and FEWOCiOUS to debut at the Sotheby’s Auction. Their NFTs are going for sale in the upcoming Contemporary Art Day Auction.
The Auction also contains NFTs from Famous artists such as Banksy and Justin Roiland. Furthermore, it will also resale Cryptopunk #4946 and an NFT of Hackatao.
ThankYouX:
Ryan Wilson commonly goes by the name ThankYouX. His style includes modern abstract designs that contrast with the more traditional graffiti-inspired street-art paradigm.
He is going to exhibit his amazing art ‘As Good As You’ that talks about the never-ending cycle of growth. We are frequently told to choose a lane or keep between the lines, which prevents us from realizing our full potential because we are afraid of rejection.
This painting serves as a reminder that it’s okay to lose your skin and push yourself to accept a state of being that is ‘As Good As You,’ embracing each of our layers while having the freedom to add many more as we grow. It is to be featured at Sotheby’s on the 15th of this month.
His collab with Hans Zimmer “In Search Of” was sold on Phillips at $226,800. In the same auction, other 2 of his arts Embrace and Acceptance were also sold for more than $100K.
FEWOCiOUS:
Victor Langois is a really young artist who goes by the name FEWOCiOUS. He was born in Las Vegas in Nevada and is currently working in Seattle in the USA.
Growing up he had a troublesome childhood and by his art, he conveys his message by his art. It was his style of journaling.
His art “Nice to meet you, I’m Mr. MiSUNDERSTOOD” is going to be featured at Sotheby’s auction on 15th October. The NFT was created in September 2021.
The art is available in both physical and digital forms. The message that the art conveys is the story about freedom, isolation, and exploration. This is his first-ever life-size sculpture. The Physical piece has a built-in Infiniteobjects screen displaying the NFT.
Hackatao:
These 2 artists Sergio Scalet and Nadia Squarci formed Hackatao. The relationships were found in Milan in 2007 with the creation of Podmork, soft and totemic sculptures that are at the heart of their groundbreaking research.
Hackatao combines classic phrases from the past with bold and ultra-modern forms, making him a unique representative of the current aesthetic landscape.
The art Imago 2k2 a.C. is going to be auctioned on 15th October. Hackatao made this artwork during the Covid time, looking to the future and the new awakening of humanity following the pandemic’s devastating effects on all levels. After Covid, Imago 2k2 a.C. remains in actuality for imago 2020, a true restart, a rebirth. Hackatao sold it on NFT marketplace OpenSea for 11.5 ETH. Earlier his NFTs were getting sold at really low prices, but recently the prices have rocketed high.
This character is a combination of Venus and a warrior and is ready for a new existence in a world that has been brutally changed by a pandemic, in the year that we will most likely refer to as the new YEAR ZERO in the future.
CryptoPunks:
CryptoPunks are one of the oldest NFTs available today. It was created by LarvaLabs on June 23rd, 2017 on the Ethereum blockchain. Cryptopunks provide the inspiration for the current ERC-721. There are a total of 10,000 little 8-bit punks.
The punk that is getting sold at Sotheby’s is CryptoPunk #4946. Along with the NFT, the buyer will also receive the punk in physical form. OpenSea link of the punk is here.
The first contains a printout of punk #4946 and the second one contains punk in the form of a stamp and a QR-code. The auction is taking place on 9th October.
