The decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), Yield Guild Games (YGG) has announced its plan to acquire $1 million worth of Star Atlas NFT gaming assets. YGG is known for the investments in NFTs used in blockchain-based games.
This is the first step to build a long-term partnership between YGG and Start Atlas.
Yield Guild Games has made a commitment to buy $1 million worth of Star Atlas NFT gaming assets. In the coming months, The company will buy additional in-game items from NFT drop. The recent drop is planned for 7th October 2021.
This move comes after the strategic partnership of both companies in April 2021. The vision of this partnership is to provide gamers with financial opportunities through the economic expansion of the metaverse.
YGG is also confident about the Solana-based gaming project, Star Atlas, as it could achieve global success.
“We believe that StarAtlas has the potential to become a leader in the play-to-earn space as it aims to offer a huge range of ways that players can participate in the game, in a valuable and meaningful way. We are really excited for our community to jump in and make a mark,” Sarutobi Sasuke, head of Partnerships at Yield Guild, stated.
About Start Atlas
Start Atlas is a new gaming metaverse based on the fusion of the blockchain, graphics, multiplayer video games, and decentralized financial technologies. Solana’s protocol allows players to serverless and secure gameplay.
