The sale went live on 10 November at 12:00 PT (UTC-8) with a list price of 60.00 Gems or $60 each. This number of editions for this particular Marvel NFT totals 12,333. The “Avengers” logo was also dropped on the same day.

Interestingly, one can buy these collectibles only by purchasing them in a blind box. This implies that the buyer won’t know which amazing collectible or rarity they have acquired until after the successful purchase.

In addition to these perks, customers who first purchase an NFT from this Golden Moments collection in the selected markets will also receive a three-month subscription to Disney+ courtesy of VeVe.

The twitter user, Alex Medina who is also the proud collector of the Ironman NFT tweeted, “Added a new gem to my collection”.

It is also informed that a 6% licensor fee will be applied to all these Disney sales in the secondary market in addition to the existing VeVe 2.5% secondary market fee.

Adorned in all-gold, these Golden Moments statues are a very special addition to any collector’s showroom and could bring in millions of dollars to the VeVe-Disney partnership by the end of the sale, which ends on 12 November.

In addition to this, the first-ever official Star Wars NFTs drops on 11 November at 12PM PT and The Walt & Mickey “Partners” NFT from Disney drops Friday, 12 November at 12PM PT.

Disney had previously launched a Golden Moment of the character WALL-E from Pixar’s 2008 animation Wall-e which has been reportedly bought by a Twitter user named Katrina Nicole. The NFTs of WALL-E was launched alongside an NFT of the Pizza Planet Truck from Pixar’s 1995 animation, Toy Story.

Moreover, the partnership has also issued a Sorcerer’s Hat NFT as a tribute to the Sorcerer’s Apprentice segment featuring cartoon character Mickey Mouse in the landmark 1940 Disney animated masterpiece, Fantasia. Along with that, a golden NFT statue of Elsa from the 2013 Disney CGI animation Frozen has also been launched in the metaverse.

In June, Marvel had launched digital NFTs and digital Comics in partnership with VeVe, one of them being the Spiderman NFT.
