Today, Presearch, the decentralized search engine, has announced that it has been working with OpenSea over the past few months to integrate its API so as to introduce a native NFT search feature into Presearch.
The announcement read, “We are excited for users to be able to find data on millions of NFTs on OpenSea directly through our community-powered search engine.”
Presearch is planning to rethink the concept that has been built on by Google and other search engines that have enabled shopping results for physical items, through search for years. The reinvention of the prior concept is deemed important for the evolution to the Web3 era of decentralization. Users will search the names of NFT projects and receive the top results from OpenSea.
The joint-venture with OpenSea can be seen as a crucial first step in the transformation of NFTs and digital assets too, with the growing raves surrounding NFTs. Presearch’s aim for collaboration with the world’s largest NFT marketplace is to streamline the way in which users can search for NFTs.
Colin Pape, Founder of Presearch said, “While many of our users are crypto enthusiasts, we also have many artists and gamers, and they are now spending more time in the NFT metaverse as well. This release makes Presearch the easiest way for them to search and get access to all of the results they want, including NFT details.”
Presearch is an open, decentralized search engine that honours community members with Presearch Tokens for their usage, contribution to, and also promotion of the platform.
As per its website, Presearch has 2.7 million registered users and 3.5 million daily searches.
As for OpenSea, OpenSea is the largest online marketplace for buying and selling crypto collectibles. Located in New York City, the Company was founded in 2017. Riding high on its success, OpenSea has recently released its app for both iOS and Android.
