The famous ‘Pepper Potts’ is here to make your Christmas merry with the jingles of Bitcoins. As Academy winning actress, Gwyneth Paltrow has announced a giveaway of Bitcoin worth $500K.

The giveaway is in partnership with CashApp, a platform where one can buy and sell Bitcoin directly from their CashApp balance.

Gwyneth fans can participate simply by commenting on her Instagram or/and by tweeting at her with a comment “$cashtag” and the hashtag #CashAppGifting, and she’ll give Bitcoins to the winners via the mobile payment service app. Winners will be given $20 increments and $100 increments.

In a recent interview, Gwyneth had commented that she cannot envision a future without cryptocurrency. She had also claimed that she wants to work with Bitcoin becoming accessible for people especially women. “Therefore, this collaboration with Cash App will help democratize people’s participation in the Bitcoin market”, she explained.

Gwyneth had also called upon women to break free from the male-centric norm of crypto and empower themselves by learning about Blockchain, Bitcoins, and Web3. Earlier, Gwyneth was in the news when she had invested in a company called Terawulf, a sustainable Bitcoin mining company.

A swarm of artists, sportsmen, entertainment houses, and even policymakers have entered the crypto space in the past few months. For instance, Miami mayor, Frances Suarez who has always been an ardent supporter of cryptocurrencies, month ago announced a giveaway of “free bitcoins” to Miami citizens.
