The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress and founder of ‘Hello Sunshine’ production company, Reese Witherspoon took to Twitter to share the first-ever glimpse of her metaverse gallery consisting of NFT art in collaboration with some·place, a mobile metaverse program bringing the digital world in your palm.

The video shared on the social handles of Reese shows her digital avatar is seen entering the futuristic art gallery with her French Bulldog Minnie seemingly showing the art gallery in the middle of a space desert.
Reese’s metaverse gallery consists of the works of various NFT artists hanging on the wall beside the ‘Hello Sunshine’ signboard and the exit leads to Reese’s Book Club.
Some of the NFT art featured in the gallery inter alia were by:
- Boss Beauties: An NFT project focused on women empowerment. Their recent limited edition 1/1s NFT collection: Boss Beauties Role Model will be displayed in the UN HQ in NYC for International Women’s Day.
- DeadFellaz: Women-led NFT brand, having 10,000 Ethereum based NFTs on OpenSea also contributed to the gallery, commenting “Your DF looks fantastic in the space!”
- Amber Vittoria: She is an artist highlighting nuances of womanhood in NFT space. She gave away the piece hanging on the walls of the virtual gallery to one of her fans.
- World of Women (WoW): This woman-focused NFT collective has earned its name in the space with Snoop Dogg appreciating highly of the colorful pieces.
- RTFKT (pronounced as “artifact”): The makers of NFT sneakers, memes, and collectibles were also some of the participating artists in the gallery.
- Cool Cats: It is an Ethereum-based NFT project Cool Cats consists of 10,000 randomly assembled cats with each cat having a variety of outfits, faces, and unique bodies.
While many thought the video itself was impressive, some feedback focused on the video’s promotion of NFTs, which have sparked a climate controversy and some comments by fans expressed their disappointment in the actress for focusing on the digital world rather than the real one.
Reese Witherspoon is an active member of the NFT community and a supporter of NFT projects led by women, such as ‘Meta Angels’ and ‘World of Women’ (WoW). With the latter, Reese showed immense support by not only using WoW’s NFT as pfp but she also announced recently to adapt the NFT characters of WoW into film/shows.
The actress is the founder of the production company ‘Hello Sunshine,’ which raises the voices of female creators.
