VeVe Drops Marvel NFT Comic

The limited-edition NFTs in the form of digital comics by VeVe are back with one of the most celebrated characters of Marvel comics – Amazing Spiderman and Black Widow. VeVe collectibles will announce the next Marvel digital comic ‘Amazing Spider-man #86’ dropping on 7th March 2022 at 8 AM Pacific Time.

In Brief:

  • Each NFT priced at $6.99 will be also accompanied by a 6% licensor fee & VeVe 2.5% in the secondary market fee.
  • It will be a fully readable comic with five different cover variants attached to five rarities in the blind box format.

The digital comic book is going to be swinging its way onto the VeVe app. The NFT is listed at $6.99 and there is a 6% licensor fee in the secondary market in addition to the existing VeVe 2.5% secondary market fee to be applied to Marvel sales.

While it has been mentioned in the tweet that the comic book is the origin of ‘Black Widow’, it is important to note that the first appearance for Black Widow was in ‘Tales of Suspense #52’ which is already on the VeVe app.

These digital comic collective drops are fully readable with five different cover variants (Classic, Vintage, Hero, Vibranium, True Believer). Dropping in blind box format by Ivan Tao, each of these covers is associated with a different rarity. They are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, and Secret Rare with a different number of editions totaling 30,000.

The comic book originally was released on 1st July 1970 created by the legendary Stan Lee and John Romita. In the Amazing Spider-man #86, we see Black Widow’s black suit for the first time. And thus, this comic drop in its digital form becomes highly anticipated if you are a Natasha Romanoff fan.

Before this, VeVe in collaboration with Marvel had dropped the digital comic ‘Vote Loki #1’ in honor of President’s Day in the blind box format where the buyer has no idea what NFT they have or what rarity they have until they open the box.
