Miami-based healthcare recovery firm MSP Recovery has reported a partnership with Tokenology to drop a healthcare claims tokenization platform that will assist in eradicating frauds and benefit patients, care providers and insurers, named LifeChain.
LifeChain will run on Polygon and it will aim to use the verifiable and straightforward features of blockchain technology to increase the convenience of healthcare charges and claims as well as medical records for patients and industry workers.
MSP Recovery, which is valued around $32.6 billion, has launched a consumer application called LifeWallet. According to the release, it will house the technology alongside a tokenized solution, LifeCoin.
The press release said that LifeChain is maximized by the network‘s leading performance as a carbon-neutral layer-2 Ethereum scaling powerhouse. MSP claims that LifeChain will need to handle an extensive amount of medical claims and daily tokenizations of approximately 50 million by 2024.
The co-founder of Polygon, Sandeep Nailwal, commented, “Truly impactful and wide-reaching projects such as these are a testament to the evolution of enterprising new solutions that developers like Tokenology are building using Polygon technology.”
