The Emmy winner and SNL comedian, Bill Murray, is entering the NFT world in the most Bill Murray way possible. On July 13, he purchased a DeadFellaz NFT for 1.5 ETH and was warmly welcomed by the community.
Throughout his career, Bill Murray appears to have been purchasing NFTs that resemble some of his most beloved and iconic characters.
The actor’s most recent purchase is from a collection of 10,000 undead “Deadfellaz” NFTs minted with “reptile” eyes, dreads, a golf vest, and a nose ring with a “toothy” mouth.
He spent 1.5 ETH on DeadFellaz #5778 via the Coinbase NFT marketplace. The “horde” reactions poured in when they discovered a resemblance between Murray’s Zombieland character and the NFT.
