Tigran Gambaryan, Global Head of Intelligence and Investigations at Binance said that with more regulators, public law enforcement agencies and private sector stakeholders looking closely at crypto, there is an increased demand for training to educate on crypto crimes and combat them.

“To meet that demand, we have bolstered our team to conduct more training and work hand-in-hand with regulators across the globe” added Gambaryan.

The Binance Investigations team has participated in more than 30 anti-cyber and financial crimes workshops with law enforcement in several countries like Canada, Brazil, Argentina, France, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Philippines, Sweden, South Korea, the UK among others.

Spearheaded by leaders from the Investigations team which is made up of security experts and former law enforcement agents. The team also includes well-known experts who have helped take down some of the big crypto-criminal platforms like Silkroad and Hydra.

The full-day training program will consist of in-person workshops on topics like blockchain and crypto assets. The curriculum also covers concerns on the changing legal and regulatory environment.

The program will also discuss Binance’s anti-money laundering policies and the company’s probing measures to detect and prevent potential frauds.

Binance has already secured registration in France, Italy and Spain, and others, making it one of the few crypto firms to achieve this feat in G7 countries.

Since last year, the firm’s Investigations team has engaged in over 27,000 law enforcement requests with an average of three days response time. Note that, as per Gambaryan, these responses are even faster than any traditional financial institution.
