AWS taps Ava Labs to bring Scalable Blockchain Solutions to Enterprises

The developer of Avalanche blockchain, Ava Labs, announced it will provide crypto infrastructure via Amazon Web Services (AWS) in order to promote “enterprise, institutional, and government adoption of blockchain.”

Through the AWS Marketplace, Ava Labs will provide “Subnet Deployment” as a service, enabling any business or organization to employ Ava Labs to set up a custom Subnet for them on AWS.

AWS now supports the infrastructure and dApp ecosystem of Avalanche, including one-click node deployment. So it is simpler for more users to launch and maintain nodes on Avalanche, enhancing the network’s strength and developer flexibility.

Avalanche node operators can run in AWS GovCloud for FedRAMP compliance use cases. This means that government entities subject to stringent data control rules could nevertheless use Avalanche technology for public sector initiatives.

Now that Ava Labs is a part of the AWS Partner Network (APN) and AWS Activate, it is able to assist clients in deploying unique products on AWS that are interconnected with more than 100,000 partners in more than 150 nations.

Emin Gün Sirer, Founder and CEO of Ava Labs, stated “It has been a huge boon for both individual and enterprise developers to be able to spin up nodes and test networks on the fly with AWS in whatever legal jurisdiction makes the most sense for them. I’m proud that we’ve implemented a protocol that can accommodate millions of participants with near-instant finality.”

AWS will also attend future Avalanche events such as the Avalanche Summit, Avalanche Creates, and hackathons. AWS already powers the networks of a number of other blockchains, including Ethereum, etc.
