Jack Butcher's Checks Elements Sells Out, Fetching Over $90K

Recently Christie’s 3.0 concluded a successful auction featuring Jack Butcher’s captivating digital artwork collection titled “Checks Elements.” The auction highlighted three digital artworks named “Alpha,” representing Earth, Air, and Water.

These artworks, created in collaboration with Jean Milant and Cirrus Editions, explored the intriguing concept of social media verification. Notably, all 152 pieces in the collection were sold, resulting in a remarkable sales total of 50.10 ETH ($93,035.70).

Jack Butcher’s “Checks Elements” artwork, was part of a larger collection consisting of 152 pieces. With a focus on social media verification, Butcher, along with Jean Milant and Cirrus Editions, brought these captivating concepts to life. The auction witnessed outstanding success, as all artworks found buyers, culminating in total sales of 50.10 ETH ($93,035.70). Among the highest-selling pieces were Air, which fetched 19.88 ETH, followed by Water with 17.25 ETH, and Earth with 12.97 ETH.

Lydia Chen, representing Christie’s, expressed her delight in collaborating with Jack Butcher and witnessing the enthusiastic participation of new bidders throughout the Christie’s 3.0 auction. She shared, “It was an absolute pleasure working with Jack Butcher to present this collection of three works from his Checks Elements series.”
