The partnership builds upon Tether’s commitment to driving the adoption of blockchain technology worldwide. By joining forces with the Government of Georgia, Tether aims to leverage its expertise and resources to promote the development of cutting-edge decentralized solutions that can revolutionize various industries.

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Nadareishvili, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that this strategic partnership will contribute to Georgia’s goal of becoming a leading destination for blockchain innovation.

He further emphasized the significance of the previously announced collaboration between Tether and BTU, one of Georgia’s top technological universities and research centers, in driving technological advancements and fostering an ecosystem of innovation.

By establishing a strong foundation for blockchain and peer-to-peer infrastructure, the governments of Georgia and Tether envision an environment that empowers startups and entrepreneurs to create groundbreaking solutions.

The partnership aims to attract local and international talent, facilitate knowledge exchange, and provide the necessary support for the growth of the blockchain ecosystem in Georgia.

Through this MOU, Tether and the Government of Georgia are poised to spearhead the development of disruptive technologies, unlocking new opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.

The collaboration sets the stage for Georgia to become a pioneer in blockchain innovation, accelerating its journey toward a decentralized and digitally inclusive future.
