The Shiba Inu team has announced their plans for the next development phase which includes public relaunch of its Layer 2 network Shibarium.
In a latest post on its blog, Shytoshi Kusama unveils plans to accelerate Shibarium’s relaunch with enhanced and optimized state after its faulty launch on 17th August. It cites that Shibarium’s testing phase will be completed and the team will prepare for public consumption once again.
The blog describes that more validators will go live 23rd August which will ultimately enable BONE token holders to delegate and earn staking rewards.
BONE is an ecosystem token of Shiba which was introduced for ShibaSwap governance. The team announced in a July 31’s blog that a significant portion of BONE will be allocated to Shibarium first role, validators. The token will be also used by the second role – delegators to support validators.
The team also said that BONE will be the gas token for Shibarium as well as for Governance within its new ecosystem.
Furthermore, Shytoshi Kusama said that the Shiba team will start working on the ShibPaper, a representation for governance and management of its ‘decentralized digital nation.’
