Blockchain Sleuths has brought attention to a recent transaction in which $14.9 million in USD Coin was moved to cryptocurrency exchange Gemini from a wallet belonging to Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum.
PeckShield, a blockchain analytics company, disclosed on X on October 17 that Buterin’s “Vitalik.eth” wallet had transferred $14.93 million to Gemini on October 16. On October 14, Vitalik received the initial payment of $14.9 million from Kanro, a charity connected to him.
