Web3 Startup Bastion Appoints Caroline Friedman as COO

The cryptocurrency startup Bastion has appointed Caroline Friedman as Chief Operating Officer, after she served as Head of Operations since its inception.

We’re pleased to announce that @CFriedman00 has been appointed as COO of Bastion.

As a founding member who helped build our platform from scratch, it was clear to us that she was the best person for the job.

With a decade of experience in digital assets, financial services, and national security, Friedman previously held key roles at a16z Crypto and Kraken.

In her new position, she will oversee compliance, regulatory matters, public policy, legal, people, and finance functions, aiming to elevate operational excellence and customer satisfaction at Bastion.

Nassim Eddequiouaq, Co-Founder at Bastion, expressed, “Her leadership and professionalism have been critical in our success and we are honored for her to take on this new role. We are confident that Caroline will continue to advance the Bastion mission and take the business to new heights.”

As a founding member, Friedman’s expanded role reflects her dedication to Bastion’s mission of creating a seamless web3 experience.
