How to Make Money With DAO

The United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF) has announced the launch of a pilot project. This project involves creating a Distributed Autonomous Organization (DAO). It aims to explore DAOs’ potential in public sector decision-making.

IGF’s Innovative DAO Project

The IGF’s Dynamic Coalition on Blockchain Assurance & Standardization (BSA) is leading this venture. They are demonstrating how blockchain technology and DAO principles can enhance governance. The focus is on transparency and high-integrity structures.

The DAO will not focus on financial applications but on decision-making processes. This move reflects a broader shift in viewing blockchain technology’s utility beyond just economic terms.

United Nations aims to standardize blockchain

The IGF and GBA partnership is a significant step forward in the global effort to standardize blockchain and cryptocurrency. The group’s members have already initiated several pilots for blockchain initiatives.#crypto #blockchain pic.twitter.com/4Q8kroWvAJ

The BSA coalition, with its open membership policy, holds monthly global meetings. It includes stakeholders from government offices across six countries, notably Brazil and Nigeria’s central banks.

The United States plays a significant role in both the coalition and the supporting Government Blockchain Association (GBA). The GBA, a nonprofit, is providing necessary infrastructure support through Gosh, an Ethereum layer-2 solution.

The GBA aligns its efforts with the U.N. Global Digital Compact. It aims to foster digital access, sustainable development, and trust in technology. Their work includes the Blockchain Maturity Model, assessing various blockchain solutions.

While the GBA primarily promotes business interests, it boasts a diverse membership. Members come from government offices in 61 countries and the United Nations.

This initiative by the IGF and its partners signifies a major step in integrating blockchain technology into public sector governance. It holds the promise of more transparent and efficient decision-making processes globally.
