Google searches for “Bitcoin ETF” have increased significantly over the past 12 months, approaching a parabolic trend.
The expectation surrounding the possible approval of a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the US is probably the cause of this increasing interest.
The increased volume of searches is indicative of the general public’s increasing interest in and curiosity about Bitcoin ETFs. Better Markets’ CEO has recently begged the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) not to approve an exchange-traded fund (ETF) for Bitcoin that tracks spot prices.
