Hacken auditors recently gave Gate.io, a major crypto exchange, a clean bill of health for its PoR’s latest version. The audit disclosed no major vulnerabilities and commended Gate.io’s “significant contribution to the field.”
The extensive review by Hacken included code functionality, security practices and error handling. They came to the conclusion that Gate.io’s PoR is an equilibrium system, which shows a profound knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptography technologies.

Hacken also provided several small fixes that Gate.io will perform to better their security procedures.

Since 2020, Gate.io has made numerous innovations on PoR by introducing Merkle trees, third-party audits, and open-source code among others Their current system has more than 171 assets and surpasses the user deposits by a sum of over $584 million.
