Aptos Partners With STAN to launch eSports platform in India

Aptos Blockchain has announced a partnership with STAN to launch an eSports-focused blockchain platform aimed at India’s 500 million gamers. The companies will utilize Aptos’ scalability and performance to open up new engagement opportunities between gamers and their favorite streamers.

The Aptos ecosystem is back at it to take gaming to the next level. India’s pioneering gaming force STAN has teamed up with @AptosLabs to bring Aptos scalability and performance to the esports community!

The new platform will allow Indian gamers to purchase non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to support eSports players and gain exclusive access to games, meet-and-greets, and interviews. This approach hopes to foster greater connectivity and inclusion between enthusiasts and their gaming heroes.

Aptos brings capabilities like 160 transactions per second throughput and experience from developers who previously worked with Mark Zuckerberg. Combined with STAN’s domain expertise in Indian eSports, the partners aim to create an immersive, multifaceted experience for the country’s vast base of gamers.

News of the Aptos-STAN partnership comes as a 2.3% price increase for Aptos’ APT token over 24 hours. APT rose to $9.44, while trading volumes rose 7.23% to $168 million.

The project has ambitious plans beyond transforming Indian gaming. Aptos utilizes blockchain accounts to enable access control over assets like coins and NFTs. Its Move programming language allows developers to encode complex business logic.

With strong transaction speeds and developer tools, Aptos aims to power the next generation of blockchain applications while avoiding issues like high fees and environmental impact.

The India launch specifically targets a demographic keen to immerse in interactive entertainment. It shows promise for blockchain and crypto to increase adoption by solving real consumer needs rather than focusing on speculation.

If Aptos’ collaboration with STAN succeeds at cultivating stronger communities and creativity, it could demonstrate blockchain’s utility and spur wider mainstream acceptance.
