Many crypto users who were suing the firm regarding losses from the exchange face closing their case against the former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried. Instead of relying on him, the public must make an informed choice against celebrities like Tom Brady and Naomi Osaka.
This announcement is part of a settlement proposal made in Florida. The consumers thought that the claimant’s knowledge about FTX’s services, connections, and community will also play a great role in the upcoming lawsuit and trial against the influencers who used to endorse the platform.
The lawsuit in question was filed in November 2022; however, it differs from Bankman-Fried’s criminal court case where he received a 25-year jail term for fraud. His attorneys are protesting against the verdict.
