Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, has officially listed BoopFun’s BOOP token on its Binance Alpha platform. To celebrate the listing, Binance has also announced an airdrop of BOOP tokens to eligible users, targeting active participants in the Binance Alpha and Wallet ecosystem.
Since the past few days, BoopFun has been emerging as a formidable challenger to PumpFun’s dominance as the leading meme coin launchpad on the Solana blockchain.
Launched earlier this month by NFT whale Dingaling, BoopFun’s BOOP token skyrocketed to a mammoth $500 million market cap with $63 million in trading volume within its first 90 minutes. The viral branding, rapid community growth, and innovative token incentives from BoopFun are inviting users to launch tokens on its newly launched platform rather than choosing other outdated approaches.
Unlike PumpFun, which has focused solely on meme coin launches, BoopFun emphasizes a community-first approach with BOOP token incentives and X-powered promotional loops, creating a fast-paced, meme-driven ecosystem.
This listing underscores Binance’s ongoing efforts to integrate innovative projects like BOOP while incentivizing user engagement through its rewards program.
The airdrop rewards users with at least 137 Alpha Points, a scoring system designed to measure engagement within Binance’s ecosystem. Additionally, users holding between 99 and 136 Alpha Points, whose Binance account UID ends in 4, also received a lucky airdrop of 291 BOOP tokens.
The Binance Alpha Points system, which determines airdrop eligibility, has been a focal point for users. Though participation is subject to regional restrictions due to varying cryptocurrency regulations.
As a native token to BoopFun, BOOP is gaining massive attention from the Solana community, with it surging over 46% in the past 24 hours. It is currently trading near $0.3315 with a market cap of $326 million—as per CoinMarketCap data.
