In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter ), Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, Binance founder, posted a picture portraying a car, which he mentioned, “Not my car, but the plate.” The image emphasized the number plate 888 BNB, since it represents the Binance Coin.
However, while happily posing and sharing the photo with the car emphasizing on the number plate, CZ advises the Kyrgyz government to adopt Binance Coin (BNB) and Bitcoin (BTC) as the National Crypto Reserve. This comes after his appointment to Kyrgyzstan’s National Crypto Committee and a partnership between Binance and the Kyrgyz National Investment Agency to advance blockchain adoption.
Binance signed a memorandum of Understanding with Kyrgyzstan’s National Agency for Investments to introduce crypto payment infrastructure (via Binance Pay) and launch blockchain education programs through Binance Academy on April 3, 2025. This partnership aims to make Kyrgyzstan a crypto-friendly jurisdiction in Central Asia.
Many countries have created a Crypto national reserve. El Salvador is the first country to officially establish a national crypto reserve, while other countries like the USA, China, and Bhutan accumulate Bitcoin reserves. CZ’s advocacy for BNB and BTC reserves, coupled with Binance ‘s strategic involvement , could pave the way for a new era of digital finance in the country.
