Fidelity Adds $166M in Bitcoin, Ethereum to Treasury Assets

Fidelity Investments, a big financial company, has announced that it has bought more cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. The firm has purchased 1,005 Bitcoin (BTC) worth about $105.7 million and 27,174.77 Ethereum (ETH) worth around $60.5 million, making a total of $166.2 million.

The move shows that the firm is becoming more interested in digital money, and it wants to include it in its treasury plans. It highlights their growing focus on the crypto world. This new buy also adds to their earlier efforts to use Bitcoin and Ethereum in their investments, showing they believe these digital currencies will be valuable in the future.

The news also highlights that the company has a strong reputation as it steps into the risky crypto market. The firm’s choice to add more cryptocurrencies to its reserves is part of a growing trend.

Nowadays, the big financial companies have started to use digital currencies. The initiative by the firm also highlights that major firms like Fidelity still see value in crypto, even though its prices can go up and down a lot.

The crypto fans are talking about the deal and are excited for it on social media, as many of them think that it’s a good sign for the industry’s future. However, it’s not clear yet when this buy will affect the firm’s overall money plans or how big the impact will be.

But it will play a major role as an important bridge between old-school banking and the world of digital assets.
