PancakeSwap has expanded its crosschain swap feature to include Solana enabling users to exchange tokens across seven blockchains through a single transaction. The support for Solana chain has been added to PancakeSwap’s existing swap interface, allowing users to move assets between chains without relying on external bridges or switching platforms.
With this update, cross-chain swaps are now supported on seven blockchains: Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, ZKsync, and Linea. The integration uses Relay, a multichain infrastructure provider that handles asset transfers between Solana and EVM-based blockchains.
Transactions typically settle in under a minute. PancakeSwap does not charge extra fees beyond its standard AMM rates, though a transparent bridge fee is applied by Relay before confirmation.
Relay’s infrastructure network
Relay’s infrastructure has processed over 55 million transactions across more than 75 blockchains, moving $6 billion for over five million users since its 2024 launch. On Ethereum alone, the network handles an average of three transactions per block, representing approximately 0.7% of all activity.
By integrating Solana into its swap interface, PancakeSwap aims to reduce multichain complexity (which is a long-standing hurdle in decentralized finance) by allowing users to bridge assets without relying on third-party tools. The update aligns with the platform’s broader strategy to unify decentralized finance access through built-in, seamless infrastructure designed to support activity across diverse ecosystems.
