Eric Trump Said Bitcoin Would Hit $120,000 to $150,000 Next Month Fact Check_

Key Highlights

  • A viral X post claimed Eric Trump predicted Bitcoin would reach $120,000 to $150,000 next month.
  • Eric Trump responded publicly and denied the quote, writing: “I never said this.”
  • Publicly documented recent comments from Eric Trump show he has discussed a long-term $1 million Bitcoin target, not the specific near-term range shown in the viral post.

A viral social media post claiming Eric Trump predicted Bitcoin would reach between $120,000 and $150,000 next month is false, based on Eric Trump’s own public response and currently available reporting.

The claim was circulated by the X account “IQ 300 | Dr. SeongWoo Choi,” which posted an image and caption stating that Eric Trump expected BTC to trade in that range “next month.” The post drew wide engagement and quickly spread across crypto circles.

However, Eric Trump replied directly beneath the viral post and rejected the quote, stating: “I never said this.” That response is the clearest available evidence that the attributed forecast is fabricated.

What makes the false claim believable to some users is that Eric Trump has made very bullish Bitcoin remarks in recent months. Previous reports show he has argued that Bitcoin could eventually reach $1 million, including comments cited from interviews and public appearances in late 2025 and February 2026. But those documented remarks refer to a long-term bullish thesis, not a fresh prediction that BTC would hit $120,000 to $150,000 next month.

The truth is Eric Trump was heard saying, “There’s no question bitcoin hits $1 million” during a panel discussion at Bitcoin Asia in August 2025. Which only means that his publicly reported Bitcoin comments have centered on an eventual upside target rather than the precise short-term call shown in the viral post.

This is not the first time fake crypto price quotes have been attached to Eric Trump online. A separate report from late 2025 noted that he also denied a false claim that he had predicted Ethereum would reach $8,000.

Fact check verdict: False.

There is no real evidence to support the claim. Eric Trump said Bitcoin would reach $120,000 to $150,000 next month. The viral post exists, but Eric Trump publicly denied making the statement.
