According to the presidential press service, as cited by local media, the meeting was focused on how Kyrgyzstan can use blockchain to improve its financial system and expand the use of virtual assets like stablecoins. It also looked at how TRON’s network could help digital transactions in the region.

Kyrgyzstan’s push toward a digital finance hub

In the meeting, Sun reportedly suggested that Kyrgyzstan could develop into a regional blockchain hub within the next two years by building on scalable networks like TRON. He pointed out that the country is already showing interest in digital finance and is open to working with global crypto companies.

President Japarov also confirmed this, citing that Kyrgyzstan’s digital asset industry is indeed growing quickly. He shared that the country now has over 200 registered crypto exchanges and 11 mining companies. He also said the government is working on better rules and systems to support the industry and make it safer and more organized.

“Today, in the digital era, thanks to such innovations, a new Digital Silk Road is being created – a network of open interaction and financial freedom.” Japarov said. He also said that TRON’s fast processing speed, low fees, and instant transaction finality have made it widely used in stablecoin systems.

In addition, the president also referred to the National Council for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies, which was created to bring together government bodies and industry experts.

According to him, the council has already approved several key steps, including the launch of a national stablecoin, and pilot blockchain projects across different sectors.

“Our strategic goal is to make Kyrgyzstan a regional hub for virtual assets and Web3 technologies in Central Asia,” Japarov said. He added that digital asset adoption in the country is rising quickly, supported by a growing number of licensed firms and ongoing legal reforms.

TRON’s plan to expand into Kyrgyzstan

Sun, in turn, shared details about TRON’s network and its high-performance blockchain network. He also discussed plans to apply for operational licensing in Kyrgyzstan, and expressed interest in supporting education programs on digital technology and on the use of blockchain and artificial intelligence in the country.

“President Japarov’s forward-thinking leadership creates a unique opportunity for Kyrgyzstan to
lead in the digital age,” said Sun. “We are committed to delivering concrete projects that will
accelerate the country’s digital transformation and deliver real value to its people and economy.”

He also said Kyrgyzstan could become an important partner for TRON in Central Asia and that working together could help spread blockchain services across the region more easily.
