Vaynerchuk,Top NFT influencer and entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, aka Gary Vee, kicks off the first-ever NFT-ticketed convention, the ‘VeeCon’ NFT conference in Minneapolis. The event will have people discussing NFTs, cryptocurrency, pop culture, business and more.
The VeeCon NFT conference takes place in the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, May 19-22. Gary Vee will host some of the major panels and interviews, and the event will highlight brands and partners with which his firms have collaborated.
The tickets are NFTs that were given to VeeFriends NFT owners a year ago in exchange for three years of access to the VeeCon annual convention and other advantages.
The first day of VeeCon started at 5 PM local time with the Massive Minnesota Meetup Welcome Party, with the event’s official partner being the State of Minnesota.
A pitch competition featuring Minnesota’s greatest start-ups was one of the party’s main attractions. Food stations, vendor displays, music activities, and much more were available.
On May 20th, at 9:30 AM CT Gary Vee gave the opening keynote speech on the main stage. Spike Lee, GFunk, Kevin Smith, Steve Aoki, Mike Novogratz, Deepak Chopra, and Bobby Kim were among the featured speakers.
Captain Morgan and Bibigo capped off the programming for the day with a 5:00PM happy hour. Musicians like Wyclef Jean rocked the stage yesterday.
Pharell, Seth Green, Clon, Guy Oseary, Liam Payne, Logan Paul, Ricky Williams, Chuck Liddell, Baron Davis, Eva Longoria, and Beeple are among the speakers at today’s event.
For the day, Johnnie Walker will be hosting happy hour. Just two weeks back, Johnnie Walker partnered with VeeFriends NFT collection where Goat Gift NFT holders received a special edition bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue.
Similarly, the show will have musicians Garzi, Lian Faz, Immasoul, Lil Polo Tee, Fresco Trey, and Miguel as the headliner.
The final day of VeeCon kicks off with a VeeFriends community brunch with DJ Mad Mardigan’s music. Mark Manson will perform at 11:00 AM. Speakers are Tyler Hobbs, Erick Calderon, SLOTH, Danny Cole, and Jen Stark.
The VeeCon 2022 finale features Snoop Dogg, Nick Adler, and Champ Medici. Gary Vee will give a closing speech at the end of the day.
VeeCon debuted in Minneapolis, where Vaynerchuk claims some of his close acquaintances live, and he also has stake ownership of Minnesota ROKKR, the local Call of Duty team.
VeeCon is originally scheduled to switch cities every year, according to Gary Vee, and this is still his preference.
Vaynerchuk noted that he’s most looking forward to seeing VeeFriends Discord community which currently has 373,000 members. “It’s a culmination of what happens digitally—it’s almost like summer camp,” Vee stated.
VeeCon follows the release of the VeeFriends Series 2 NFT collection, which includes 55,555 NFTs with 251 characters, including 236 from Series 1 and 15 new characters for the first time in the VeeFriends universe.
